DOWN TO “CỐC LY” MARKET – SEE THOUSAND-YEAR-OLD TREES

- 8:00 am: Local tour guide (or motorbike taxi driver) picks you up at the meeting point in Bac Ha town center and takes you to Coc Ly market about 20 km from Bac Ha town.

- 9:00 am: You visit Coc Ly market. Participating in this market are mainly Dao Đen people (Dao Tuyển), Nùng, and H'Mong Hoa people. People bring to the market all kinds of local products: vegetables, upland rice, honey, fragrant mushrooms... Coming to the market, visitors cannot help but stop by the food court to enjoy specialty dishes such as "thắng cố", "mèn mén", sour pho...

- 10:30 am: You leave the market, continue your journey to Cốc Sâm village, check-in at the thousand-year-old grind tree recognized as a heritage.
- 12:00 pm: You have lunch (you can choose to return to Trung Đô if the group is large, if you are traveling alone you can prepare food to take away from Bac Ha or book a nearby homestay).

- 01:00 pm: Continue the journey to Nậm Đét, visit cinnamon forests, a tree that has helped people here eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. Stop to visit a few Red Dao people's houses.

- 04:30 pm: You leave Nậm Đét and return to Bắc Hà through terraced fields in Nậm Thảng.

- 05:00 pm: End of tour.
